🏃The Livonia Varsity Cross Country team had a great race on Senior Night. In the girls race Alaina Turek led the way for the Livonia Team, followed by Nica Bailey and Sarah Costik. All 3 girls ran very fast times on a very tough course. Ryan Bosch led the way for the boys team placing 6th overall in a very fast boys race. 🏊The Girls Swimming and Diving team are back to winning again, beating Letchworth-Perry, 93-70. The team was able to squeeze out 24 best times over the duration of the meet. Lanechain swimmer of the meet was Laura Wood for qualifying in the backstroke, making it a total of 6 qualified events for Sectionals. 🏃The modified cross-country team had great results last night at our home meet. The girls team placed five runners in the top seven led by Natalie Genthner's first-place finish followed by Madelyn Mulvaney (2nd), Lorelei McGrath (4th), Anya Finnochario (6th), and Annabelle Reynolds (7th). The boys team had outstanding results. Nathan Palotti led the team with a first place finish followed by Tytus Jarzyna (4th), Finn Cole (8th), Derek Mellen (11th), Cireno Meadows (16th), Grayson Meyer (19th), Max Matthanhasak (23rd), and Aiden Schibley (24th). Monday night wrap-up
⚽Girls varsity soccer takes another win Monday night against Warsaw. Avery Bernard scored 2 goals off direct kicks outside the 18, Olivia Feehan curved one in off a corner kick and Defender Hayley Kuhn gave a power shot over the goalkeeper's head giving the girls a 4-0 win. Livonia’s defense shut down Warsaw's offense giving them no opportunities to score. Show out Thursday night while the girls take on Dansville!
⚽The Boys Varsity Soccer team hosted the North Rose Wolcott Cougars on Monday night and wasted no time taking charge. Keegan Dennis scored what turned out to be the match-winner on an assist from Ryan Matzek in the 8th minute. Austin Francis and Colin Ullock had two goals apiece. Shea Maxwell, Nick Coyle, and Jack TeBeau added single tallies. James Spezzano had three assists on the night, and Connor Feehan, Brady O’Keefe, Austin Francis, and Nick Stetter had one assist apiece. Kaidan O’Connor and Gavin Woolston combined for the shutout. “Man of the Match” honors were shared by Austin Francis and Shea Maxwell. The boys host Wellsville on Wednesday night at 6:30 and Way-Co on Friday at 4:30 for Homecoming.
⚽The JV Boys Soccer team improved to 10-0 on the season with a 5-0 win over visiting North Rose-Wolcott. Lincoln Richardson paved the way with his second hat trick of the season and added an assist. Evan Strauss added a goal and an assist, Aaron Lubberts added a goal, and Lars Kovach added an assist. Carson Beardsley and the defense recorded their 7th shutout of the season. 🏈JV Football Livonia 74- Cal-Mum/Byron Bergen-12
Once again JV Football had a strong offensive, defensive, and special teams effort to beat Cal Mum BB handily.
Jacob Benitez scored once each on the ground and through the air with a 55 yd rushing TD and 40 yd TD reception from Jack Henry. Henry added 3 pass completions for 2pt conversions all to Benetiz and rushed one in on his own and added in a 87-yard Kickoff return for a touchdown also. Alex Crilly added 2 scores, a 50 yd reception from Henry and a 50-yard td run. Seth Eadie paved the way on the ground with 3 TD runs of 49, 20, and 55. Eadie also had a pick 6 from 72 yards for a score, a 38-yard punt return for a TD, and added a 2pt conversion run and 2pt reception to top it off. Trenten Gavlak added a two-point conversion to round out all the scoring.
Defensively a host of Bulldogs including Connor Peters, Logan Pressler, Aaron Kime, and Jack Oliver held up a tough day for the opponent. Special teams standouts were Connor Peters, and Jacob Benitez who covered the kicks very well along with the other members of the special teams units.







💗The Livonia Cheerleaders participated in the Positively Pink in Pittsford Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday morning. The girls had a great time supporting local survivors and representing Livonia with pride. Donations raised went to Embrace Your Sisters, which is a local foundation that supports women and families in the Finger Lake area during their time of need after diagnosis with breast cancer.






Weekend Wrap-up
⚽The Boys Varsity Soccer team hosted Hornell on Saturday night. Despite outshooting the Red Raiders 15-2, it took a late wonder goal from Connor Feehan to secure a crucial 1-0 victory. The Bulldog defense was stellar in keeping the high-scoring Red Raiders at bay, and left back Nick Coyle was the “Man of the Match”. 🏈The Bulldogs Varsity football team traveled to Lyons on Friday night to take on the Lyons-Sodus Lions under the lights, looking to get back in the win column. The Bulldogs came into the game with some key injuries. In a hard-fought game, Livonia came out on the losing end 42-27. Lyons scored first and the Bulldogs got on the board in the first quarter with a Jared Bishop 10 yard TD run. The point after by Levi Woolston was good to tie the game at 7. Jackson Trubia would score from 3 yards out early in the second quarter to take a 13 - 7 lead but Lyons came back to even the score at 13 and would tack on 2 more scores before the half to take a 27 - 13 lead into halftime. Lyons would score twice more in the second half before Livonia answered with a 6 yard TD run by Owen Wetterings. On the ensuing kick-off, Levi Woolston would boot the ball to the goal line where an alert Owen Wetterings would pounce on the Lyons fumble in the end zone to add another quick score. Woolston's leg also helped the Bulldogs on the previous kickoff as he booted the ball into the end zone for a touchback.
For the Bulldogs, Owen Wetterings finished the game with 83 yards on the ground and 2 Touchdowns. Kyle Wetterings contributed with 45 yards while Jared Bishop added 38 yards and a score. The Bulldogs defense was led by Jared Bishop who finished with 8 tackles. Austin Bratcher added 2 tackles and an Interception and Aveion Santiago contributed 5 tackles. The Bulldogs look to rebound next weekend as they face East Rochester-Gananda on Saturday at 1 pm for Homecoming Weekend.
⚽Girls varsity played another long game against Hornell Friday night. The girls fought through double overtime which resulted in a 0-0 tie. ⚽The Boys Varsity Soccer team travelled to Bath on Thursday night and came away with a hard fought 3-1 victory over the Rams. Colin Ullock, Ryan O’Duffy, and Connor Feehan were on target for the Bulldogs. Feehan and James Spezzano recorded assists. “Man of the Match” honors were shared by Ryan Matzek and Max McEnerney. The boys host Hornell on Saturday at 6:30.
🏊🏼♀️The Girls Swimming and Diving took their first loss against a very talented Wellsville team, 112-68. Throughout the meet, the team posted an impressive 44 best times! ⚽ The JV Boys soccer team improved to 8-0 with a win over Haverling Rams 5-0. Lars Kovach netted the first goal, Anson Richardson added two goals, Aaron Lubberts made it 4-0 off a diving header assist from Lincoln Richardson and Grant Francis added the fifth goal off an assist from Gavyn Phillips. Ethan Batzel, Alex Bajan, and Anson Richardson were outstanding at defense which lead Carson Beardsley to his 4th shutout of the season. Saturday the Bulldogs take on rival Hornell at 4:30pm.
🏐 Mod Girls Volleyball played a great game yesterday at Wayland Cohocton! They stuck together and worked hard after losing their first two sets. They came back to win the next three but lost again in the sixth. The game ended in a tie with each team winning three sets. Alexis Sigley and Lily Rossborough helped the team with both having 5 serves in a row. The girls play again at home on Tuesday against Dansville.

🏃 The Varsity Cross Country team had a great night at Warsaw Village Park. Alaina Turek came in first for the Livonia Girls team, she was followed by Veronica Bailey and Sarah Costik. Silas Meadows won the boys race with Ryan Bosch coming in a close second. They were followed very closely by Matt Mulvaney, Aiden Brown, and Hunter Otis. Myles Jarzyna, Chance Watkins, Sean Spezzano, and Talon Vallone rounded out the top 9 runners for the Livonia team. Great job Cross Country!
🏊♀️The Girls Swimming and Diving team out swam Way-Co Tuesday night, 93-82. The team had a total of 50 best times throughout the meet. Lane-chain swimmer of the meet goes to Emma Olsheski for her qualifying time in the 200 IM and 100 Free. With a 4-0 record, the team will host a talented Wellsville team, Thursday night at 6:00.

⚽ Boys modified soccer traveled to Bath for a morning matchup and brought their record to 1-1 with a 2-1 loss. The boys fought hard the whole game but Bath was able to score off a long run inside of 5 minutes remaining in the game. 🏈 Bulldogs Varsity Football hosted Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw (LPW) on Friday night under the lights at Saunders Field, looking for their 2nd win of the season. The Dawgs fell down early 14 zip but battled back late in the 1st quarter as Owen Wetterings scored from 10 yards out. Wetterings would also score in the 2nd quarter as Jackson Trubia threw a 9 yard TD pass to him and the Bulldogs went into halftime trailing 22-15. The Bulldogs came out in the 2nd half looking to put the ball in the end zone again but LPW, with some outstanding Defense up front held the Bulldogs scoreless. LPW would score twice more in the 2nd half to come away with a 36-15 win. The Bulldog defense was led by Owen Wetterings (9 tackles) and Jared Bishop (8 tackles) and some inspired play by Thomas Frisbie (4 tackles). A late interception by Jackson Cook put an end to a LPW drive but the Bulldogs could not take advantage of it.
🥁The Band provided for a great atmosphere on a beautiful night under the lights.

Colin Ullock opened the scoring, assisted by Connor Feehan, followed by Feehan from Ryan Matzek and Austin Francis from Ullock for a 3-0 halftime lead. Ryan O’Duffy netted in the second half, assisted by Brady O’Keefe, and Keegan Dennis rounded out the scoring, assisted by Shea Maxwell. Teagan Matzan ran a personal best by more than 6 minutes! In the Varsity Boys race Silas Meadows came in 11th overall out of over 100 runners. He was followed by Hunter Otis, Matthew Mulvaney, Aiden Brown, Myles Jarzyna, and Talon Vallone. Special shoutout to Evan Costik for getting a personal best and shaving some minutes off his time!

⚽ The Boys Varsity Soccer team defeated Gananda 9-0 on Thursday night. Colin Ullock had a first-half hat trick. Single tallies were added by Keegan Dennis, Connor Feehan, and Jack TeBeau. Ryan O’Duffy scored his first varsity goal and then added two more for the hat trick and “Man of the Match” honors. James Spezzano assisted on three goals. Kaidan O’Connor and Gavin Woolston combined for the shutout. The Boys host Williamson on Saturday at 1 PM.
🏐 JV Volleyball has had 2 matches so far this week. Tuesday at home they lost the match to Hornell by losing 2 games and winning 1.
Thursday at Perry they won their match 2 games to 1. The scores of the match were 25-12, 25-23 and 18-25.
They play again on Friday at 4:30.
🏐The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Perry last night for a non-league match up with the Perry Yellowjackets.
The Bulldogs won in three close games to win the match 25-22, 25-18, 26-24.

Wednesday Night Wrap-up
⚽The Boys Varsity Soccer team won 6-3 in Dansville on Wednesday night. Colin Ullock led the way with 3 goals and an assist. Connor Feehan added 2 goals and an assist and Keegan Dennis added a goal and an assist. Jack TeBeau and David Buys chipped in with assists. “Man of the Match” honors were shared by Colin Ullock and Ryan Matzek. The Boys travel to Gananda for a non-league contest on Thursday. Kickoff is 5:30.
⚽ The JV Boys soccer team remained undefeated with a 4-0 win over Dansville. The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead in the first minute by a score from Grant Francis. He added another goal by a late PK. Gavyn Phillips added another goal by an assist from Francis. The fourth goal was scored by Anson Richardson from long range. 🏊🏼♀️ The Girls Swimming and Diving team outperformed Midlakes Wednesday evening, 100-57. The girls tallied up 32 best times while having 7 more sectional qualifying times.
