
Wednesday Night Wrap-up
⚾ The Livonia JV baseball team extended their win streak to 4 games as they ousted McQuaid in 5 innings by a score of 10-0. Ethan Mack pitched 4 solid innings striking out three and allowing only 1 hit. Seth Eadie pitched the 5th while striking out 1 and walking 1, in only 15 pitches. Cayden Cavo and Ethan Mack went 2-3 and 3 RBIs, and 3-3 respectively. Brayden Amadeo was 2-3 and 2 RBIs and Jacob Benitez was 1-2 and 2 RBIs. Carson Beardsley was 1-2 and 1 RBI while Seth Eadie and Ryan Bosch also had hits for Livonia (9-5). The team ends their regular season tomorrow at Baker Field against Way-Coh, 4:30 pm first pitch.


Tuesday Night Wrap-up
🎾 On Tuesday night the modified tennis team played a tough Avon squad. Derek Fisher / Abel Kingston, Fiona Morey / Hayden Dockstader, Gianna Brown / Sydney Kolodziej and Jerry Guetti / Paolo Quintana got doubles match victories for the Bulldogs.
🥍 The girls modified lacrosse team fell to Geneva last night 10-7. Laine Swarts had 11 saves. Lydia Kashorek had two goals. Evie Walters, Adriana Abbott, Chloe Nelson, Taryn Rossborough and Grace Kaufmann each had one.
⚾ Livonia varsity baseball beat Avon 9 - 1. In their final regular season game, senior pitcher Conner Benitez pitched a complete game striking out 17 batters and walking none. "our horse for sure, who has thrown the ball very well this season."
Connor Feehan went 3 for 3 with 2 RBI and a run scored. Zack Williamson went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored for the Bulldogs. Livonia scored 6 runs in the 3rd inning to take a 9-1 lead and never looked back.
The Bulldogs finish the regular season with a 13-6 record and 7-1 in LCAA play. First round sectional game will be played at Livonia on Monday against a team and time TBD.
🏌️♀️ Varsity golf beat Cal-Mum at Old Hick last night 174-159. Congrats to Nick Coyle and Colin Bagley who shot low for Livonia with 39s.








🥍 Last night in Avon our Lakers Lacrosse Seniors and their families were celebrated before a tough loss against a strong Aquinas team, 12-10. Congrats to Tanner G, Maddox O, Austin R, Michael N, Christian R, Evan F, Matthew B, Jon C, and Jackson M! You will be missed next year both on and off the field.

Monday Night Wrap-up
🎾 The Varsity Tennis Team ended its regular season yesterday with a 4-1 victory over Warsaw. Huge Congrats to Trent Gavlak who won his match at third singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory!
The team finished its regular season with a 13-0 record. The duos of Charlie Roberts, Gavin Woolston AND Mary Kwak, Levi Woolston will compete on Thursday at Brockport HS in State Qualifiers. The team will prepare for team sectionals which begin next week. GO BULLDOGS!
🥍 The girls modified lacrosse team fell last night to Penn Yan 12-4. Taryn Rossborough had 2 goals, Penny Stewart and Cheyenne Sargent both had one. Laine Swarts had 8 saves.
⚾ Livonia varsity baseball lost to Avon 15 - 3
Connor Feehan went 2 for 3 with a double and Alex B. went 1 for 3 with a 2-run HR. Avon scored 5 in the first and 4 more in the 5th to take a commanding lead. The Bulldogs mustered only 7 hits. Livonia moves to 12-6
⚾ The JV baseball team won their third game in a row, improving their record to 8-5, with the 23-12 win over Avon in 6 innings. Carson Beardsley earned his first JV start and his first win for the Bulldogs. Ethan Mack, Ryan Bosch, and Seth Eadie came on in relief for Livonia. The Bulldogs take on McQuaid Wednesday and finish out the season on Thursday versus Way-Coh.
🥍 The Livonia/Avon Lady Lakers wrapped up their regular season play last night with a 16-6 win over Gananda-Marion. With an impressive 7 goal lead going into the second half, the Lakers were able to secure the win at the end of the game all while getting 8 girls on the board with goals.
Scoring in the first half for the Lakers was Sidney Clickner (3g), Megan Carr (2g), Maryn Gammon (2g, 2a), Lily Rowe (2g, 1a), Lila Meyers (1g) and Madelyn Roome (1g) with her first varsity goal. Bronwyn Class also contributed offensively with an assist to Megan Carr with forty-four seconds left in the first half.
Going into the second half, Kearstin Skelly scored her second career varsity goal off of an 8-meter free position. Also scoring in the second half were Maddie Whitford (1g), Lila Meyers (1g), and Sidney Clickner (2g). Lily Rowe was able to get another assist on the game, putting her at a total of 17 assists for the season.
Six different athletes were able to contribute to possession on the circle for the Lakers. Megan Carr led the team with 4 draw controls, followed by Maddie Whitford (3), Sidney Clickner (2), Maryn Gammon (2), Lily Rowe (1), and Kearstin Skelly (1). The Lakers also came up with 22 ground balls to Gananda-Marion's 17. Leading in ground balls for Livonia/Avon was Megan Carr (6), followed by Maddie Whitford, Sidney Clickner (3), and Lila Meyers (2). Emma Weterrings, Kearstin Skelly, Lily Rowe, Catie Haugh, Eliza Gillespie, Maryn Gammon and Sarah Costik all tallied 1 ground ball for the entirety of the matchup.
Mia Martucio was in goal for Livonia/Avon, making 7 saves, putting her at a 54% save percentage.
The Livonia/Avon Lakers finished regular season play with a record of 7 wins and 9 losses. This record puts the Lady Lakers at their most regular season wins since the 2017 season, giving Coach Presler her most single-season wins since taking over the program. The girls will begin sectional play next week, opponent, time and location are TBD.
🥎 5-10 Modified Softball played a great game against Hornell.
Chloe Richardson scored 3 runs. Anna Guetti, Courtney Potts, and Catherine McLaughlin scored 2 runs each.
Morgan Wheaton and Emily Lippert scored 1 run each.
Harper Sykes had 2 strikeouts and Arianna Cameron had 1 strikeout.
Morgan Wheaton had an out on 1st base with an assist from Courtney Potts.
5-15 Modified Softball played an outstanding game against Way-Co.
Emily Lippert scored 2 runs. Addie Eaton, Catherine McLaughlin, Marci Middleton, Hannah White, Hailey Burke, Sara Gerko, Arianna Cameron, and Maddie Collins all scored 1 run. Emily Lippert had 2 strikeouts and Emily Lippert had 1 strikeout. Morgan Wheaton and Claire Stephens each had an out on 1st base. Morgan got another out on 1st base assisted by Harper Sykes.
The team plays at home again on 5-16 against Dansville.

Weekend Wrap-up
🎾 Charlie Roberts and Evan Woolston achieved Livonia history this weekend as they won the Section 5 Individual Sectionals Championship in doubles! The team defeated 2 teams from Hornel, Penn Yann and an imposing match from the eventual second place winner - LIVONIA. Evan Woolston and Charlie Roberts defeated a Livonia duo of Mary Kwak and Levi Woolston for the championship 10-8. It was both team's most formidable match! The Kwak Woolston duo upset Wayne Central in the semi-final 10-4! To set up the all-Livonia final!
Congrats to both teams who won sectional patches and will compete this Thursday at State Qualifiers!
⚾ Livonia varsity baseball beat Geneseo 4-2 on Friday. Matt Bean pitched 6 2/3 innings striking out 9 and walking 3. He allowed 5 hits. Jack Kearney closed the door striking out the final hitter with runners on first and second. Connor Feehan went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI. Trailing 2-0 heading into the bottom of the 3rd the bulldogs would plate 4 runs, spearheaded by a huge Connor Feehan Double driving in Kaidan O'Connor and Luke Fasso. The Bulldogs improve to 11-5 on the season.
⚾ Livonia varsity baseball beat Newfane 17- 9 on Saturday. Alex Benitez picked up his first varsity win pitching 4 2/3 innings striking out 6 batters. Trailing 1-0 in the top of the 3rd the Bulldogs would score 9 runs to take a commanding 9-1 lead. Alex Benitez went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 5 RBI including a bases-clearing triple. Connor Feehan went 2 for 4 with 3 runs scored and 3 stolen bases. Luke Fasso hit a triple to drive in a run. Jack Kearney pitched the final 2 innings in relief. The Bulldogs had 10 hits on the afternoon. Livonia now moves to 12-5 with 2 games to go.
🥍 Mod-A Boys Lakers lacrosse beat Batavia 15-4 on Friday, scoring for the Lakers were Nikolai Hanna (6g), Brayden Arber (3g, 4a), Brice Ballew (2g), Jacob Kershner (2g, 1a), Rider VanZandt (1g, 1a), and Jack Ackerman (1g). Ayden Szymanski had 5 saves on 7 shots (5sv/2ga) playing 33 minutes, and Jacobus Alaimo played 11 minutes allowing 2 goals (0sv/2ga). The Lakers play Wayne on Monday in Wayne.
🥍 Boys varsity Lakers lacrosse had a very good week this week winning all three of their games. On Wed. The Lakers beat Bishop Kearney on Saunders field 17-0. They then beat Bath by a score of 21-4 on Thurs., before finishing their week with an 8-7 win at Churchville Chilli.
Scoring for the Lakers this week: Jackson McEnerney 8 goals and 9 assists, Max McEnerney with 9 goals and 4 assists, Tanner Gray with 6 goals and 6 assists, AJ Peri with 6 goals and 2 assists, Christian Rumfola with 7 goals and 3 assists, Evan Frazo with 4 goals, Joey Cinquino with 2 goals and 2 assists, Chris Thompson with 2 goals, Jayden Cauwels with 1 goal 1 assist, Jacob Dupont 1 goal, and Owen Weterrings with one assist.
On the defensive end of the field, Matt Beachel finished the week with a 54% save percentage, Colin Ellsworth and Colton Rose also saw time in the net this week. Defenders Jon Crye, Mike Neckers, Owen Wetterings, Ryan Matzek, Travin Ellison, Aaron Ruth, and Matt Barrett combined to hold the opposition to under 4 goals per game this week. Mike Neckers and Owen Wetterings are tied at 32 caused turnovers apiece on the season.
The Lakers have Aquinas in Avon on Tuesday this week. That is senior day. For their last game, the Lakers will travel to Penn Yan on Thursday.

Thursday Night Wrap-up
⚾ Varsity baseball clinched the Livingston County Division 1 title for the first time since 2019 with a 7-3 win on the road against Hornell. The Bulldogs move to 6-1 in the league and 10-5 overall
Conner Benitez pitched a complete game working 7 innings allowing 3 hits striking out 5. "our horse did it for us, all year he has come up big on the mound."
Connor Feehan went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 stolen bases. Jack Kearney had 2 hits including a triple and drove in 2 runs. Catcher Alex Benitez went 2-3 with an RBI
Trialing 1-0 after one, the Bulldogs would score 2 in the 3rd, 4th, and 6th innings to seal the deal.
"Our first goal was to win the county title, now we focus on our second goal of the season."
🎾 The varsity tennis squad remained undefeated with a very hard 3-2 victory over Cal-Mum. The Bulldogs have upped their record to 12-0 while Cal-Mum lost their first match. Gavin Woolston and Mary Kwak led the way at first and 3rd singles while the Cardiac-Kids Levi Woolston and Ethan Gavlak won a very tough 3 setter 0-6, 6-3, 6-4. The team will play Warsaw on Monday and then ready itself for team sectionals.
🎾 On Thursday the modified tennis team went to Cal-Mum to face an excellent team. Several Livonia players had very close matches and the doubles teams of Morgan Fisher / Eddie Gates, Alex Smith / Abel Kingston, Addy Palmeri / Loralynn Averill and Derek Fisher / Hayden Dockstader won their matches.
🥍 The modified girls lacrosse team lost 7-5 to Midlakes. Laine Swarts had 23 saves. Grace Kaufmann had 3 goals and Taryn Rossborough and Katie O'Brien both scored one goal. GO BULLDOGS!!
🥍 Livonia-Avon Lakers Girls varsity lacrosse defended their home field last night with an 8-5 win over Wayne, improving their record to 6-8. They also celebrated Teachers Night! More photos coming soon!

Tuesday Night Wrap-up
⚾ Livonia varsity baseball bean Bath 6- 4. Conner Feehan pitched 6 innings striking out 11 and walking 3 allowing 5 hits to pick up the win. Conner Benitez pitched the final inning recording the save striking out 2. Kaiden O'Connor was 2-4 for the Bulldogs. Conner Benitez had 2 hits and Alex Benitez had a hit and walked 2 times. Bath had the bases loaded with 2 outs in the 7th but Conner Benitez shut the door.
The Bulldogs improve to 9-5 and 5-1 in the League.
⚾ The Livonia Bulldogs JV Baseball team traveled to McQuaid on Tuesday and fell to the Jesuits by a score of 5-4. Livonia was down 5-2 going in to the 7th. Sam Angarano drew a walk at the top of the 7th and Grant Frances pinch ran for him. Frances and Bosch ended up scoring to cut the lead to 5-4. The Bulldogs would leave the potential tying run ( Brayden Amadeo) at second base in the loss.
Livonia’s next game is Wednesday, at Dansville. The first pitch is at 4:30 pm.
🥍 The girls modified lacrosse team beat Mercy tonight 6-4. Evie Walters, Lily Rossborough, and Ali Fowler all had 2 goals for the Lakers.
🥍 Varsity girls lacrosse lost to Pal-Mac 4-14. The Red Raiders jumped out to a 7-0 halftime lead and cruised to the win. Megan Carr had three goals and Mia Martucio recorded eight saves for the Lakers (5-8).

Monday Night Wrap-up
🏌️♂️ Along with the individual golf honors yesterday the varsity golf team was named LCAA 2023 Division 1 Champions.
🎾 The modified tennis team had an excellent showing on Monday afternoon as they defeated Perry. Every Bulldog won at least one match while many players were able to get two victories.
🥍 The girls modified lacrosse team pulled out a 10-8 win last night over Midlakes/Newark. Alison Fowler had 4 goals, Chloe Nelson 2 and Lily Rossborough, Natalie Genthner, Evie Walters and Grace Kaufmann all had one.
🥍 Girls varsity lacrosse beat Brockport 12-8. Megan Carr (3g), Lily Rowe (4g/1a), and Sidney Clickner (3g) were all multi-goal scorers for the Lakers, who improved to 5-7. Clickner reached her 50th goal in the game.
🥎 The Varsity softball team was shut out by a very good Haverling team, but they will be back at it today as they travel to Honeoye!

Weekend Wrap-up
🎾 The modified tennis team tied their match versus LeRoy on Friday night. Leah Whittel and Morgan Fisher won their singles matches while the doubles teams of Helio Quintana / Eddie Gates, Derek Fisher / Abel Kingston, Addy Palmeri / Loralynn Averill and Alex Smith / Fiona Morey won their doubles matches. Even those Bulldogs who were not victorious were in very close matches. It was a great showing against a tough LeRoy team.
🎾 The varsity tennis team improved its record to 10-0 by defeating arch-rival LeRoy with a 5-0 shutout. In the process, Livonia won the 2023 league title! The win was hard-fought and well-earned. At first singles Gavin Woolston won a close three-setter 4-6, 6-4 and 6-3. The match of the day was played at 1st doubles as Levi Woolston and Ethan Gavlak bested LeRoy 6-3, 3-6, and 6(9) 6(7) a tie-break victory!
The Bulldogs will take on York this Tuesday at home. GO BULLDOGS!
🥍 The Mod-A Lakers Boys won against HFL Saturday 10-7. Scoring for the Lakers were Brayden Arber (3g, 2a), Nikolai Hanna (2g, 2a), Brice Ballew (2g), Rider VanZandt (1g), Connor Duryea (1g), and Kayden Sweet (1g). Ayden Szymanski played 3 quarters with Jacobis Alamino playing a quarter. Ayden Szymanski held the Courgars off in the 4th quarter letting only 2 goals in. Ayden Szymanski was nominated MVP of the game by the HFL Cougars. The Lakers play Tuesday at home against Aquinas.
⚾ Livonia varsity baseball beat WayCoh on Friday 5 - 2. Trailing 2-0 to start the bottom of the 6th, Livonia would tie the game on an Alex Benitez double to tie the game at 2-2. Matt Bean would single in Alex Benitez with the go-ahead run to make it 3-2 Bulldogs. After a Kaiden O'conner sacrifice bunt, Aidan O'Keefe would hit a sacrifice fly to increase the lead to 4-2. Luke Fasso would hit an infield single to put the Bulldogs up 5-2. Conner Benitez pitched a complete game striking out 14 and allowing 5 hits. Luke Fasso went 3-3 for the Bulldogs.
⚾ Varsity baseball lost to Leroy 5 - 4 in 8 innings on Saturday
Alex Spezzano 2 out bases loaded single sealed the deal for Leroy in the bottom of the 8th inning. Bulldogs pitcher Matt Bean pitched 5 2/3 innings striking out 9 and walking only 1 he allowed 5 hits. The big blows came in the 6th inning as Matt was cruising up till that point, but Leroy had 2 big two-out hits. The Bulldogs left many people on base all game long and it came back to haunt them. "needed key hits and we failed to do so, in the 4th, 5th, 6th innings we should have had more but couldn't get the big hit." "We need to be better there." Livonia drops to 8-5 on the season.
⚾ The JV baseball team improved to 4-3 on the season with an 11-5 win over Wayland-Cohocton. Seth Eadie picked up the win as Livonia scored 6 runs in the top of the ninth to secure the victory. Carson Beardsley hit a 2-run single to put the Bulldogs up 11-5. Brayden Amadeo, Seth Eadie, Sam Angarano, Jack Henry Logan Presler, Ryan Bosch, and Ethan Mack all had hits for Livonia. The Bulldogs travel to McQuaid on Tuesday with the first pitch slated for 5pm.
⛳ Varsity golf beat Brockport on Friday on a very wet Deerfield Country Club course 211-229. Tommy Keysa tied Brockports Henry Schultz for medal honors by shooting a 39. Colin Bagley was a close second with a 40, and Nick Coyle came in with a 43.

Congratulations to senior goalkeeper Mia M. on her 200th career save and freshman midfielder Sidney C. on her 100th career ground ball‼️
Mia tallied her 200th career save on 4/25 against Pal-Mac. Mia currently has 244 career saves putting her in 3rd for all time saves behind Emily Carr (358) and Carley DeLandro (412). Congratulations Mia!
Sidney C. secured her 100th career ground ball on 5/1 against Eastridge. Sid currently has 108 career ground balls, putting her in 5th for all time ground balls behind Adrienne Weber (120), Sarah English (124), Audrey Weber (128) and Lauren Connor (168). Congratulations Sid!



Thursday Night Wrap-up
🎾 The modified tennis team won their match against Warsaw on Thursday in a convincing fashion. Getting wins for the Bulldogs at singles were Olivia Smith, Morgan Fisher, and Loralynn Averill. The doubles teams were also very successful with the teams of Caris Sicker / Addy Palmeri, Leah Whittel / Gianna Brown, Abel Kingston / Alex Smith, Derek Fisher / Hayden Dockstader and Jerry Guetti / Eddie Gates all coming up with big wins.
🏌️♂️ Varsity golf came up one stroke short last night at OId Hick against non-league Class A Pittsford Sutherland 197-196. Tommy Keysa was low man for Livonia with a 37, followed by Chas D and Nick Coyle who tied with 39s.

Wednesday Night Wrap-up
🎾 On Wednesday night the modified tennis team defeated Pavilion/York 4-3. Carter Breu played a tremendous match at first singles and the doubles teams of Alex and Olivia Smith, Paolo Quintana / Jerry Guetti and Gianna Brown / Fiona Morey were victorious. Leah Whittel played a close match at second singles. Eddie Gates made his left-handed debut and played a good match while Helio Quintana lost an exciting match in a tie-breaker.
🎾 The Varsity Tennis team upped its record to 9-0 with a shutout win versus Pavilion. Ethan Gavlak and Levi Woolston led the way with a 6-3, 6-0 win at first doubles. The team will be home on Friday to play LeRoy in what will be a championship match! The winner will become the D1 champion.

🏌️♂️ Varsity golf managed to get another game in between the rain at Bath Country Club last night beating Haverling on their home course 168-198. Tommy Keysa and Nick Coyle were leaders with a 40 and 41 followed closely by Chris Coyle and Chas Doerflinger with a 43 and 44. Go Dawgs!

Scoring for the Lakers were Nikolai Hanna (2g), Rider VanZandt (1g), Brice Ballew (1g), and Kellan Schneider (1g). Ayden Szymanski let in 4 goals throughout 3 quarters and had 15 saves throughout the game not allowing any in the 4th quarter. The Lakers are 4-2 on the season. Their next game is Saturday night at HFL.
