🏊♀️ Girls Swimming Sectional Prelims at 5PM at the Webster Aquatic Center. In order to qualify for finals the girls have to place in the top 16 tonight in their events.
Will the real Coach Gilman please stand up! The PE Department is having a fun Halloween dressed up as their recently retired colleague. They are even sporting his NYS Champ ring.
Weekend Wrap-up
🏃♂️ The Varsity Cross Country team had a wonderful weekend at their League Championship in Byron Bergen. Cami Rode came in 12th in the Division 1 girls race followed by Alyssa Healy, Ollie Turek, Carly Lang, and Reagan Sykes.
In the boys race Chris Coyle came in 2nd in Division 1-earning himself the honor of a Division 1 all-star! He was joined by Matt Mulvaney and Ryan Bosch who also placed in the top 10 and earned themselves an All-Star Spot!
The boys team was officially crowned as LCAA Division 1 champions for the 2022 season. Special congratulations to Coach Crabb and Coach Brongo on winning Coach of the year! Best of luck at Sectionals Varsity Cross Country!
⚽ The Livonia Boys Soccer team won the Section V Class B1 title on Saturday by the score of 1-0 over a strong #1 seeded Hornell team. Luke Fasso had the game’s only goal, assisted by Connor Feehan. Goalkeeper Peter Tonkery was “Man of the Match” with several top drawer saves to keep the Bulldogs in the game, and was chosen the Class B1 Tournament MVP. The boys improve to 17-1-1 and advance to Wednesday night’s Class B state qualifier against B2 champs Bishop Kearney/Chesterton at Canandaigua. Kickoff 5:45 PM.

🏊 The Girls Swimming and Diving team competed in the LCAA Championship this Saturday, taking second (521) behind Wellsville (564). The team racked up a ridiculous 70 best times and scores throughout the meet! LCAA Meet champion is Lila Meyers in the 50 and 100 Free, as well as winning the Outstanding Performer of the Meet award. Taking 20 athletes to Sectionals, the team will compete starting next week with diving @ Churchville-Chili (10/29), and swimming @ Webster (11/1 and 11/4).
⚽ The Boys Varsity Soccer team opened its post-season campaign with a 4-0 Class B1 quarterfinal win over the visiting Pal Mac Red Raiders. Austin Francis opened the scoring midway through the first half, assisted by Colin Ullock. Evan Frazo made it 2-0 in the second half, assisted by Jackson McEnerney. Connor Feehan rifled a free kick to put the Bulldogs up by three and George Christian rounded off the scoring, assisted by Austin Francis.
Brady O’Keefe, Aidan O’Keefe, Nick Coyle, and Mike Neckers were solid on defense, allowing goalkeeper Peter Tonkery a quiet evening. James Spezzano and Luke Fasso had several great runs down the wings providing several opportunities. “Man of the Match” honors were shared by Keegan Dennis and Connor Feehan. The boys advance to meet undefeated Attica/Alexander in the semi-final round on Wednesday night at Geneseo HS at 5PM.

⚽ Boys modified soccer had a spectacular finish to their season winning against Perry 12-0. Eddie Trautman scored his first goal of the season and Aaron Lubberts stretched his scoring streak to 12 games! The boys finished the season UNDEFEATED at 10-0-1 with 77 goals for and 13 against. Awesome season boys!
🏊♀️ Megan C and LIly S competed in the LCAA Diving Championship in Haverling last night and came away with a 9th and 10th place finish. Our swimmers compete tomorrow.
It's Senior Night for Football! Congratulations to the Class of 2023. Athletes will be celebrated before their game tonight. Senior Night will start at 6:20 and the game starts at 7. We hope you can join us and celebrate their accomplishments!
Wednesday wrap-up
⚽ Yesterday the modified girls picked up their 11th straight victory with a home win against Keshequa 9-2. The Bulldogs wrap up the season at home Friday at 4:30 against Mercy.
⚽ The modified boys soccer team won last night against a much improved Keshequa team. The Bulldogs won 4-0 behind goals from Lars Kovac, Gavyn Phillips, Grant Francis and Aaron Lubberts. The team played a nice game and were anchored by Anson Richardson on defence. The boys have their last game this afternoon looking to stay undefeated for the year!

After finishing up the regular season in Dansville the Livonia Boys Cross Country team is now 18 and 1 and officially the league Champions! Top finishers were Matt Mulvaney in 2nd place, Chris Coyle in 3rd, Ryan Bosch in 4th, Silas Meadows in 5th, Hunter Otis in 7th, followed by Josh VanNostrand and Myles Jarzyna,

🏊♀️ The Girls Swimming and Diving team competed in their last season meet last night against Wellsville and Pal-Mac. The Girls racked up an impressive 37 best times, this late in the season. Lane-chain swimmers of the meet are Lucy S. and Miranda B. for their first time qualifying time in the backstroke! Next meet is Thursday - Diving @ Bath, and Saturday - Swimming at Bath; LCAA Championships. The team has 20 qualified swimmers and divers!!!

🏐 The JV Volleyball team played amazingly for their last home match of the season! The girls won all three sets against Dansville on Monday night by leading with a strong serve. Eliza Gillespie had 9 aces, 3 kills, and 3 assists. Lyla Kingston had 4 aces and 1 dig. Kiara Gonzalez and Kiley Tumminelli both had 1 kill and 1 dig each. The girls will finish out their season with a tournament in Byron Bergen on Saturday 10/22. Great work, ladies. I am so proud of your growth and progress this season!
