🥍 The Lakers Boys Modified Lacrosse team won 12-2 over Batavia in Avon with Livonia midfielder and attackmen Rider VanZandt leading with 4 goals followed by Livonia midfielder and attackmen Jacob Benitez with 3 goals, Avon midfielder and attackmen Jacob Kershner with 2 goals, Avon midfielder and attackmen Kellan Schneider with 2 goals, and Avon midfielder Sully Dale with 1 goal. The Lakers Modified Lacrosse team go 4-5 on the season!
🎾 The Varsity Tennis Bulldogs upped their record to 10-0 with a 5-0 win over Cal-Mum. Mary Kwak led the way. Trailing 0-5 in her first she rallied to win the set 7-3 in a tie break. Mary won her match by trouncing her opponent 6-0 in the second set! The Dogs final league match will be at home this Tuesday vs Warsaw for Senior Night! Go DOGS!
🏌️ Livonia had a great day on the links edging out Bath by just 4 points and beating both WayCo and Dansville at Bath County Club! Gavin Rounds of Bath took top honors scoring a 43 followed by Livonia's dynamic duo of Tommy Keysa and Chas Doerflinger each scoring a 46. Bath's Wyatte Rodbourn was hot on their tails scoring a 47. Way to go Bulldogs!
⚾ Varsity Baseball beat Dansville 9- 7
Jack kearney pitched 6 1/3 innings allowing 3 hits and striking out 5 for the Bulldogs. Connor Feehan pitched the final 2 outs to seal it for Livonia. Livonia pounded out 16 hits led by Alex Benitez, Conner Benitez both with 3 hits. Jack Kearney, Wyatt Raponi, and Tom Stewart had 2 hits a piece. Livonia has won 4 in a row and now stands at 7-8 on the season.

Wednesday Wrap-up
🥍 The girls varsity lacrosse team fell short one goal against Bishop Kearney Wednesday night. The Lakers were prepared for a 50 minute fight. They were able to tie the game up at the end of the first half, from a free position goal scored by Kylie Buckley with .08 seconds left on the clock, making the score 5-5. Unfortunately, the Lakers were outscored 6-5 in the second half. Regardless of the final score, the Lakers carried themselves with respect and exemplified exceptional sportsmanship throughout the entirety of the game.
Scoring for the Lakers was Kylie Buckley, leading with 6 goals, Sid Clickner with 2 goals and Maryn Gammon and Lily Rowe with 1 goal each. Defensively, Caitlynn Haugh was able to hold their leading scorer to two goals for the game. Maddie Whitford had a standout game, showing up for her teammates across the field, helping immensely on transitions and tallying 3 caused turnovers and 2 ground balls for the Lakers. Mia Martucio was in goal and had an outstanding performance in goal, making 11 saves with 11 goals against, putting her at a 50% save percentage.
The Lakers are on the road Monday to face Wayne in their final matchup of the regular season.

🥎 Livonia JV Orange Softball traveled to Midlakes to face the 13-1 Screaming Eagles. It was a beautiful day and the Lady Dawgs gave it everything they had but fell short 9-5. Although we lost, the Bulldogs learned they can compete at a high level and are hungry for their next game! Some highlights of the game are below:

- Karly Lawton went 1-3 with a run scored and a double
- Makenna Collins 1-4 with an RBI
- Morgan Meys had an RBI on a fielder's choice

⚾ The JV baseball team lost to McQuaid Wednesday night by a score of 11-9. Kaiden O'Connor got the start and went 4 innings and gave up 4 hits. At the plate O'Connor went 3-5 with an RBI single. Seth Eadie went 4-5 with a double, 2 RBI's and two runs scored. Ryan Bosch was 2-4 with 2 RBI's. Ethan Mack went 2-4 and an RBI. Jack TeBeau, Jackson Cook ( 2 runs scored), and Zack Williamson also collected a hit for the Bulldogs, who will travel to Dansville today to take on the Mustangs.
🎾 The modified tennis team defeated Perry 6-1 on Wednesday night. Trenten Gavlak, Alex Bajan, Caris Sicker and Jackson Schedlbauer all had convincing singles victories. In doubles, the teams of Morgan Fisher and Olivia Smith, Carter Breu and Helio Quintana, Hailey Burke and Loralynn Averill, and Tyrese Rosser and Alex Bajan had nice victories.

🥎 Modified Softball lost to Dansville last night. The team started off strong with 5 runs in the first inning, scored by Lily Sharp, Sophie Denny, Rosaly Buehler, Brooke Minnery and Kaddie Martin. Lily Sharp had two strikeouts and Madison Beach had 1.
The girls play again Friday evening at home against LeRoy.
🥍 After a tough one goal loss last Saturday to the HFL Cougars, the Lakers Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team came up with two big wins over the past two nights to secure the first ever GRALL Title in school history!
On Tuesday the Lakers travelled up to Aquinas where the boys were able to come away with a 15-13 victory! Aquinas started the scoring off, but the Lakers were able to quickly respond as junior Jackson McEnerney scored his 100th career goal in the first quarter sandwiched by two goals from Justin Skelly, giving the Lakers a 3-2 lead! Jackson is the third Laker to accomplish the 100 goal feat. The balanced Lakers offense proceeded to score 4 goals in each of the remaining quarters to come away with the 15-13 victory. Late in the 3rd quarter Matthew Connor assisted on a Derrick Wigley goal, giving Matthew his 100th career Lakers point, becoming the fifth Laker to hit that number! Shane Melead had 5 goals to lead the Lakers offensive performance.
Defensively the Lakers came up with some timely stops, leading to the big league victory!

Last night the Lakers hosted the Bishop Kearney Kings in another GRALL contest, coming away with a 16-3 victory! The Lakers scored the first 12 goals of the game, including 8 in the first quarter, allowing them to cruise for the win. The win put the Lakers at 5-0 in the GRALL with one league game remaining, clinching the first league title in history!
11 different Lakers recorded a goal or an assist on the night, including an assist to defenseman Jon Crye after a great ground ball and clearing play as time was winding down in the third quarter. Matt Beachel and Nic Teachout combined for 3 saves in the win.

🏃 Last Friday, the Livonia Varsity Track Team competed in the Cal-Mum Invitational. Leading the way for the Bulldogs were Isabelle Vinci and Matthew Connor. Vinci placed first in the 100 hurdles, finished second in the 100, and was part of the 400 relay that placed sixth. Connor won the 400 hurdles and placed fifth in the 200. Other athletes who placed in individual events were Carly Lang, Matthew Mulvaney, and Aiden Brown in Steeplechase, Niko Williams in the 400 hurdles, Brick Sass in the 110 hurdles, James Spezzano in the 400, Hannah Weldy in the 100 hurdles, Emily Foley in the 1500 and pole vault, Luke Lawton in the 1600, Angela Tewksbury in long jump and triple jump, and Kaitlyn Keiffer in shot put and discus. Weldy, Tewksbury, Vinci, Sass, Lawton, Makayla Pribanich, Isabell Dennis, Maggie Harmon, Hailey Weldy, Anthony Lippert, Keegan Dennis, Ryan Kelly, Josh VanNostrand, Silas Meadows, Hunter Otis, and Ryan Abbott were all members of relay teams that placed. ⚾ Varsity Baseball beat Way-Co last night 11-1 in 5 innings. Conner Benitez pitched 5 innings striking out 11 walking 2 allowing 2 hits. Conner also went 3 for 3 at the plate with a triple and 2 RBI. Alex Benitez went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Connor Feehan went 1 for 1 with 2 walks and 2 runs scored.
The Bulldogs had 8 hits. The game went 5 innings due to the 10 run rule. The Bulldogs now move to 6-8 on the season.
⚾ The JV baseball team traveled to Way-Coh on Tuesday and came away with an 8-4 victory. Ethan Mack pitched 4 solid innings striking out 5. Jack Henry earned the win and pitched 2 1/3 innings and struck out 3. Seth Eadie came in to pitch the last 2/3 of the inning and finished with a game ending strikeout. At the plate, Jack TeBeau was 2-4 with a triple and 2 RBI’s. Kaiden O’Connor was 1-3 and an RBI single, and Zack Williamson was also 1-3 and a RBI single. The Bulldogs travel to McQuaid tomorrow for a 5:30pm start.
🎾 The Varsity Tennis team improved to 9-0 with a 5-0 win over Pavilion. The first doubles squad of Lucas "SkyHook" Ray and Austin "The Enforcer" Francis led the way with a 6-0, 6-0 victory. The Dogs will meet Cal-Mum this Thursday at Cal-Mum in a showdown of undefeateds! GO DOGS!
🎾 The modified tennis team defeated Pavilion 5-2 on Tuesday night. Great matches were played by all. Caris Sicker, Jackson Schedlbauer, and Carter Breu all won singles matches while the doubles teams of Leah Whittel / Edward Gates and Morgan Fisher / Olivia Smith won their doubles matches.

🥍 The Livonia/Avon girls varsity lacrosse team celebrated their 2022 seniors with a 13-7 win over Brockport Monday evening. The Lakers showed up and played a full 50 minutes of lacrosse, getting 6 girls on the board with at least one goal. At the end of the first half, the Lakers led by 3 goals, with a score of 5-2 and remained on top by outscoring Brockport 8-5 in the second half of the game. Sidney Clickner led the team with 5 goals, followed by Kylie Buckley with 3, and Kelsey Stewart with 2. Megan Carr, Lily Rowe and Lila Meyers each scored one goal for the Lakers. Along with their goals, Stewart, Rowe and Buckley all tallied one assist for the night. Defensively, Sara Perdue led in caused turnovers with 3, also contributing was Lily Rowe, Maryn Gammon and Kylie Buckley with one caused turnover each. Sidney Clickner also led the team in ground balls with 6 for the evening, followed by Lila Meyers and Kylie Buckley with 3. The Lakers were able to come up with 25 ground balls for the entirety of the game. Both Mia Martucio and Courtney Schirtz were in goal tonight, Mia made 9 saves and Courtney made 3. This was a well played game by the Lakers, and a great way to honor and celebrate the 2022 seniors.

Alex Benitex went 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 4 rbi. Connor Benitez went 3 for 3 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI. Trevor Raffa had an rbi single for the Bulldogs. Connor Feehan and Kris Amadeo scored 3 runs apiece to lead the Bulldog charge. Livonia moves to 5-8 on the season.
🥍 The varsity girls lacrosse team lost a tough battle to Churchville-Chili Friday night. After being down 1-0 at the start of the game, Lila Meyers got on the board to tie things up and get the offensive momentum started for the Bulldogs. By the end of the first half, Churchville had a two goal lead 4-2, which was the biggest deficit of the game.
At the start of the second half, Kylie Buckley scored 3 unanswered goals, giving the Bulldogs a 1 goal lead, with a score of 5-4. Churchville quickly answered to tie things up, and proceeded to score 1 more unanswered goal, giving them a 6-5 lead. With the help of her team, the Bulldogs were able to yet again clear a lane for Kylie, while she tied up the game again at 6-6, and later on answering back to another Churchville goal, making the score 7-7. Within the last two minutes of the game, the Saints were able to get their one goal lead off of an 8-meter goal.
Defensively, Paige Ryan led the Bulldogs with 3 caused turnovers, while both Maddie Whitford and Sabrina Adamson tallied 4 ground balls each. In goal was Mia Martucio, making 9 saves with 8 goals against, putting her at a 53% save percentage.
Regardless of the final score, this was the second consecutive game where the varsity girls lacrosse team has remained their composure and showed outstanding sportsmanship while representing Livonia Athletics. They will host Brockport, Monday night at 7:00PM and celebrate the class of 2022 prior to game start.

The score was 14 -7 and the girls fought through a few challenges to get this victory. Hitting was where Livonia was able to gain the advantage to help secure the win. 🎾 Tennis Sectional qualifier action - Nate Woolston beat his brother Gavin 10-6 to win singles title. Gavin finished second.
Mary Kwak and Levi Woolston won the doubles with a 10-3 win over Hornell.
Lucas Ray and Austin Francis finished3rd and qualified with a 10-3 win over Dansville. All will play at Pal-Mac next Saturday!
🥍 Last night the Lakers Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team hosted the Haverling Rams, coming away with a hard fought 14-9 victory over their GRALL rivals on Senior Night! Shane Melead started the scoring for the Lakers two and a half minutes into the game, and by the time the first quarter ended the Lakers were up 5 - 0. The fifth goal of the evening was scored by Justin Skelly, assisted by Derrick Wigley. That goal was Justin’s 100th career goal, and Derrick’s assist was his 100th career point!
The second quarter was one that the Lakers will want to forget as the Rams outscored Livonia/Avon 6 – 1, ending the first half with both teams tied 6 – 6. After the Rams scored first to open the 3rd quarter, the Lakers responded with 4 goals in both the 3rd and 4th quarters to come away with the victory! Defensively the Lakers ramped up their performance in the second half, killing off a number of penalties and contesting every Haverling shot on goal.

⚾ The JV Baseball Bulldogs were all about pitching and defense on Thursday as they beat the Wayland-Cohocton Eagles 7-1. Seth Eadie pitched 6 strong innings striking out 6 and Ethan Mack pitched the 7th inning needing only 14 pitches to secure the win for the Bulldogs. Kaiden O’Connor hit a rbi single in the 5th inning to put the game at 5-1. Livonia would score two more runs in the 6th for some insurance. The team will play again next Tuesday at Way-Coh. 4:30 pm is the first pitch!

Emma King went 3-3 with 4 runs scored, 2 RBIs and 5 stolen bases...Mckenna Collins went 2-3 with a triple, 3 runs scored and 2 stolen bases...Alaina Turek went 2-3 with 3 RBIs, 2 runs scored and 2 stolen bases...Morgan Meys went 2-3 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored....Jessica Freese went 2-2 with 1 run scored and an RBI, and others who scored RBIs were Arabella Ricotta, Lillie Capecci, Alex McKeel, Megan Bailey and Rebecca Czryrca. Defensively, Emma King and Alaina Turek each tightened up the infield with several putouts and in the outfield Kiera Wilson had a great catch! 🥍 The varsity girls lacrosse team lost a tough one Wednesday night against Bishop Kearney. It was a very competitive match up and one goal game for the majority of the contest. The Bulldogs put up a great fight, but came up short as Bishop Kearney scored with 30 seconds remaining in the game. Leading the team in goals was Kylie Buckley with 4, followed by Sidney Clickner with 2. In the defensive end, the Bulldogs were able to come up with 12 caused turnovers, and all across the field they tallied 20 ground balls. Mia Martucio played another strong game in goal, with 9 saves and 8 goals against, putting her at a 53% save percentage.

🏃 Yesterday our Livonia Track and Field athletes competed hard against a strong team. Scores were close most of the meet and it was a tough loss. We had a few bright spots with some personal records and wins in a few events. We are proud of our performance and sportsmanship - keep it up Bulldogs!
🥎 Modified girls played a great game against Wyo/Co tonight, we finished in the rain! Lily Sharp had 4 strike outs and got 3 outs at home plate. Kiara Gonzalez had 3 assists. Maddie Beach had 1 strike out. Scoring runs for the team were Victoria Charlebois, Sophie Denny, Rosalyn Buehler, Brooke Minery, Kaddie Martin, Lily Sharp and Kiara Gonzalez.
🥍 Mod girls lacrosse lost to Churchville Chili last night. They play again Thursday night at home vs Brockport.
⚾ Varsity baseball lost to Wellsville 3-1. Alex benitez doubled in Conner Benitez in the first after Conner doubled and the Bulldogs took the 1-0 lead. Wellsville scored 2 in the 4th and that's all they needed for the win.
Jack kearney pitched 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 7 hits.
Livonia left 8 runners on base and had the tying runs on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out and couldn't score.

🎾 The varsity tennis team won its League Title today with a 5-0 shutout of Hornell. Mary Kwak led the assault today with a 6-2,6-1 win. Mary was awesome! She covered the court and won going away! The squad is now 8-0. Livonia will be hosting sectional qualifiers this Weds. Come on out and see some well played tennis!
🎾 The Livonia modified tennis team beat Hornell 4-3 on Monday. Trenten Gavlak and Caris Sicker won their singles matches while Jackson Schedlbauer and Leah Whittel lost extremely close matches. Morgan Fisher, Edward Gates, Hailey Burke, and Loralynn Averill won doubles matches.
🥎 Last night Livonia's JV Orange team avenged their loss they had to Hornell last week. The Bulldogs won they game 11 - 7 behind a very good pitching effort from Chloe Meys and strong hitting and baserunning by the Lady Dawgs! Chloe struck out 6, walked 3 and hit one batter while giving up 5 earned runs! Keeping the walks low was very key to the team's success! At the plate, Kiera Wilson and Mckenna Collins each hit a triple and Morgan Meys and Karly Lawton hit doubles scoring 2 runs! The speed was working on the bases as Emma King had 5 stolen bases, Alaina Turek had 4 stolen bases, Jessica Freese had 2 stolen bases, and Kiera Wilson had 2 stolen bases. It was a great team win! Thanks to all of the fans that have come out to support the girls...you all are AWESOME!
⚾ Varsity baseball lost to Hornell 2-1 in 8 innings. Livonia tied the score in the 7th inning on a deep flyball by Connor Feehan. Hornell's Gennaro Picco singled in Dom Nasca from second base to score the winning run after Nasca reached on an error overthrow. Conner Benitez pitched 7 1/3 innings striking out 10 and walking none allowing 4 hits. Jack Kearney had a double for the Bulldogs.
⚾ JV baseball lost to Hornell 19-6 on Monday. Jack TeBeau had a rbi single and Jackson Cook hit a double. Zack Williamson had two stolen bases for Livonia. They will host Wellsville on Tuesday, 4:30 pm start at Baker Field.
🥍 The varsity girls lacrosse team advanced their record to 5-6 Tuesday night after bringing home a win against Marcus Whitman. The Bulldogs had a 3 goal lead at the end of the first half, and maintained their momentum and control throughout the entirety of the game.
Sidney Clickner and Lily Rowe worked together on the circle, coming up with 7 draw controls for the Bulldogs. In the attacking end, Sidney Clickner and Kylie Buckley lead the bulldogs with 3 goals each, while Maryn Gammon followed with 2. Lily Rowe, Kelsey Stewart and Kylie Buckley each tallied 1 assist. Megan Carr came up with 2 caused turnovers in the attacking end, which helped the Bulldogs maintain their offensive possession.
Defensively, Paige Ryan and Sabrina Adamson both tallied 1 caused turnover. Once the the defense was able to take over possession in the defensive end, they quickly and effectively transitioned the ball to the attacking end. In goal tonight was Mia Martucio with 6 saves and 4 goals against, putting her at an impressive 60% save percentage.

🥎 Naples came to Livonia for a JV Orange softball game on beautiful Friday night. Naples put up a great fight but the Lady Dawgs were on the "A" game and came away with the victory! The score of the game was Livonia 10 and Naples 7. Some highlights from the game were....Chloe Meys pitched a complete game, gave up 2 hits, struck out 7 batters, and went 2 for 3 at the plate with 1 RBI. Alex McKeel went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs, Morgan Meys went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI and Mckenna Collins hit a triple! Defensively, Emma King had an outstanding performance and sealed the victory to end the game by turning a double play.
🥍 On Saturday, April 30th the Lakers Varsity Boys travelled to Brockport for a non-league game against the Blue Devils. The Lakers didn’t waste anytime determining the outcome of this one has they scored 8 goals each in quarters 1 and 2, leading 16-0 at the half and cruising home to a 21-0 victory.

Weekend Wrap-up
🎾 Livonia's second doubles team of Ethan Gavlak and Levi Woolston led the Varsity Tennis win on Friday. The Bulldogs defeated Perry by a score of 5-0. Gavlak and Levi Woolston won their match by a score of 6-2, 6-1.
The Bulldogs are now 7-0. They will face Hornell today at home. A win will mean a league title for Livonia!
🥎 Modified Softball had their first game of the season against Bath on Friday. They lost but had some good plays. Outs were made by Elli DeBolt at first base, assisted by Lily Sharp. The girls play again at home on Tuesday.
🥍 Modified girls lacrosse had their first game on Saturday and beat Wayne 7-5
🥎 JV softball Blue team lost to Bath on Saturday. The players worked hard all game and continue to improve.
🏃 Livonia Track and Field went to the Warsaw Invite Saturday and competed against some great competition. For the girls Isabelle Vinci took first place in the 100 Hurdles, 2nd in 200 m dash and the 4x100m relay team consisting of her, Hailey Weldy, Kia Pribanich and Angela Tewksbury took 4th place. Other place winners were 4x100 relay with a 4th place finish, Avery Bernard, Isabelle Dennis and Angela both took 5th in their respective events. Emily Foley rounded it out with two 6th places finishes.
The boys led by a pair of 5th place grabs by Luke Lawton in the 1600 and 3200. Niko Williams finished 3rd and Brick Sass finished 4th in 110 hurdles. James Spezzano took home a 3rd place finish in the 400 m dash. Our 4x400 m relay team took 5th which consisted of Keegan Dennis, Ryan Kelly, Jon Maus and Thomas Frisbee. The teams head to Bath for a matchup vs the perineal power on Tuesday!
⚾ Varsity baseball lost to Bath on Saturday 4-2. Bath scored 3 runs in the 3rd inning which proved to be plenty. Livonia scored 2 in the 6th and had the tying run on second base with two outs but Alex Benitez flew out to end the threat. Bath would tack one on in the 7th to make it 4-2.
Jack Kearney pitched 6 innings allowing 7 hits striking out 2. Livonia drops to 4-6 on the season.
⚾ JV baseball lost 5-2 to Haverling on Saturday. Jack TeBeau had an RBI double in the 6th inning that scored Jack Henry from first base to cut the game 5-1. Zack Williamson’s RBI single scored TeBeau to make it 5-2 in the same inning. Livonia could not muster up any more runs in the seventh and fell to the Rams. Seth Eadie pitched 4 1/3 solid innings with only two earned runs and struck out 7. Ethan Mack came in and pitched 1 2/3 innings to finish the game out for the Bulldogs.
🥍 The girls varsity lacrosse team won over Eastridge 8-5 Saturday afternoon, advancing their overall season record to 4-6. At the end of the first half, Eastridge was leading by one goal with a score of 4-3, but Livonia/Avon came back and outscored them 5-1 in the second half. Five minutes into the second half, Anna Cinquino tied up the game and got the momentum started for the Bulldogs. The team had five different athletes score during the matchup, led by Kylie Buckley with three, Anna Cinquino with two, Lila Meyers, Sidney Clickner and Maddy King all with one goal each.
Duo Sidney Clickner and Kylie Buckley worked together on the circle to get possession of the draw. Together, they tallied 7 draw controls and helped the Bulldogs gain and maintain possession in the second half of the game.
Defensively, Paige Ryan came up with 3 significant caused turnovers, giving the Bulldogs the opportunity to transition the ball back to offense and take control of the game. Caitlynn Haugh had another outstanding game as she defended Eastridge’s leading scorer, while the remaining defenders worked together to protect the net and shut down the Lancers’ offense. Leading in ground balls was Maddy King in the offensive end, tallying 8 for the entirety of the game, which kept the ball in the Bulldogs’ possession on the attacking end.
In goal was Mia Martucio with her best game of the season. Mia was 14 saves for 19 shots, only letting in 5 goals in 50 minutes. This put her at an impressive 74% save percentage for the game.

🎾 The Varsity Tennis team upped its record to 6-0 with a victory over Way-Co. The squad was led by the fired up duo of Julie Renner and Anthony Brongo who won their first ever varsity match by a score of 6-3, 6-3. The Dogs will play again tomorrow vs Perry! Go DOGS!
🏌️ Livonia beat out Dansville and Mt. Morris at Old Hickory last night. Teams scores were Livonia 172, Dansville 254, and Mt. Morris 257. Low man last night was Ethan Provino from Mt. Morris with a 38 followed by three Livonia players Chas Doerflinger with a 41, Zach Barnard with a 42, and Tommy Keysa with a 43.

🏌️ Varsity golf won against Hornell but lost against Addison last night away in Hornell. Scores were Addison 170. Livonia 185, and Hornell 197. Tommy Keysa was low man for Livonia with a score of 39 losing out to Addison's Ryan Thompson by only one stroke.
⚾ Varsity Baseball beat LeRoy 10-5. Conner Benitez pitched 5 innings allowing 4 hits while striking out 7. Jack Kearney went 3 for 5 with 3 doubles and 3 RBI. Jack also pitched the final 2 innings to pick up the save. Livonia scored 4 runs in the 3rd and 4 more in the sixth to seal the game. Wyatt Raponi went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI and Brady O'Keefe had 2 hits for the Bulldogs who move to 4-5 on the season.
🏃 Two Big wins last night for the BOTH the Boys and Girls Varsity Track Teams against Hornell. Event winners for the girls were, Avery Bernard in the 100 hurdles, Kaitlyn Keiffer in both shot put and discus, Emily Foley in both Pole Vault and the 1500, Angela Tweksbury in the long jump, Belle Vinci in the 100 and Carly Lang in the 3000. Event winners for the boys were Matt Connor, with a personal record, in the 400 hurdles, Keegan Dennis in the high jump, James Spezzano in the 400 with an impressive performance. The freshman boys also swept the board in the 3200 relay to take first place. The teams will compete this Saturday at Warsaw for the Warsaw Invitational.
🥍 The varsity girls lacrosse team beat Gananda/Marion 12-7 Tuesday night. After losing to Pal-Mac (12-1) on Monday, the lady bulldogs were able to bounce back and work together to advance their record to 3-6.
After being tied 5-5 at the end of the first half, the Bulldogs won the second half by outscoring Gananda 7-2. Leading the team in goals was Maryn Gammon with 4, followed by Kylie Buckley with 3 and Megan Carr with 2. Leading the team in draw controls was Sidney Clickner with 5, followed by Anna Cinquino, Kylie Buckley and Lila Meyers each with 2. Defensively, the team was able to keep Gananda under 10 goals due to causing 5 turnovers and working as a unit for the full 50 minutes. In the cage, Courtney Schirtz and Mia Martucio split goal time.Courtney made 5 saves and let in 5 goals, while Mia made 6 saves and allowed in 2 goals.

The girls varsity lacrosse team returns home this Saturday April 30th to play Eastridge during their first annual "Lacrosse Day." All teams from the Livingston Lacrosse Club and both Livonia/Avon girls scholastic teams will be playing from 10:00AM-3:00PM.
🥎 On Monday, April 25th, the JV Orange Team traveled to Bloomfield and won their first game of the season by the score of 13-7! Chloe Meys pitched a very strong game and struckout 12 batters. Alaina Turek had a strong game at second base and threw 4 players out. At the plate; Morgan Meys went 2 for 4 with a triple and an RBI, Chloe Meys went 2 for 3 with a triple and 3 RBIs, Karly Lawton went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs, and Emma King 1 for 4 with 2 RBIs! It was a great day for softball and all of the girls did a fantastic job!

⛳ The Varsity Golf team is on a roll winning against Dansville last night at Brae Burn with a score of 174-256. Congrats to Chas Doerflinger for beating out the competition and scoring a 41, Tommy Keysa came in second with a score of 43, and Chris Coyle and Zach Bernard tied for third with 45s.
🥍 After a long layoff the Boys Varsity Lakers finally got back to action as they traveled up to Webster Schroeder to take on the Warriors last Wednesday. After a back and forth first half which had both teams knotted at 5, the Warriors controlled play on the way to a 16-9 win, dropping the Lakers record to 2-2. 7 different Lakers found the scoring column as Shane Melead (2 goals, 3 assists) and Jackson McEnerney (3 goals, 1 assist) led the way.

🥍 On Saturday the Boys Varsity Lakers travelled down 5&20 to meet up with the Marcus Whitman Wildcats in a potential Class D preview. The Wildcats would find themselves on the scoreboard first, but the Lakers would score the next 11 goals to coast to a 17-4 victory. During that 11 goal run Jackson McEnerney scored 4 times, Justin Skelly 3 times and Derrick Wigley twice. The defense created problems all day for Whitman as they forced 10 turnovers, led by Owen Weterrings 2. On the Lakers second goal Matt Connor recorded an assist that puts him first all time for Lakers assists! Congrats Matt.

🏃 On Thursday, April 21st, both the Boys and Girls Varsity Track Teams competed against Dansville. Although both teams came up short on the scoreboard, all our athletes represented Livonia well. Event winners for the Bulldogs were James Spezzano in the 400, Avery Bernard in the 100 hurdles, Kaitlyn Keiffer in shot put, Reagan Sykes in high jump, Emily Foley in pole vault, and Angela Tewksbury in triple jump. Other point scorers for the team were Matthew Conner, Silas Meadows, Hunter Otis, Niko Williams, Matthew Charlebois, Luke Lawton, Anthony Lippert, TJ Gause, Aiden Kelly, Bella Vinci, Grace Buys, Blair Wallman, Isabelle Eirick, and Cadence Chapman. The teams will next compete when they travel to Hornell next Tuesday. WE BELIEVE!
🥍 Girls varsity lacrosse lost a tough battle to Mynderse-Romulus Friday night. At half, the Lady Bulldogs were only down by 2 goals. Despite coming up 6 goals short at the end of the game, the team worked hard as a unit on offense and four different girls got on the board with goals for the Bulldogs. Junior, Lila Meyers, led the bulldogs in goals with 3 and 1 assist for the game. Eighth grader Maddie Whitford scored her first career goal as a member of the varsity lacrosse team. On the defensive end, sophomore Catilynn Haugh had a stand out performance, accompanied by seniors Paige Ryan, Sabrina Adamson and Sara Perdue. Defensively, the team tallied 6 caused-turnovers and put up a strong fight against Mydnerse's aggressive attack. In goal for the Bulldogs was junior Mia Martucio, making 5 saves.
