Wednesday Night Wrap-Up 🏒 Lakers Hockey The Lakers battled the WFL Panthers last night in Geneva, playing a competitive game that ended in a 3-3 tie. Geneseo’s Dominic A led the blue liners in minutes played, putting in another strong performance. Livonia’s Ryan O found the net twice, assisted by Dom A and Avon’s Finn R. Livonia’s Joey C added another goal with an assist from Logan P. The Lakers are back on the ice Friday at home against Lockport/Niagara Falls, where we’ll also be celebrating Senior Night! 🏀 Varsity Girls Basketball The Lady Bulldogs secured a 42-34 victory in Geneseo! Sophomore Molly H led the charge with 17 points, followed closely by Senior Captain Kierstin E, both attacking the basket all game. Great job, girls! 🎉 10 Years of Dominance! 🏆 The Livonia Boys Swimming and Diving team has claimed the LCAA Championship title for the 10th consecutive year, outscoring Avon in a nail-biter, 467-453! 🐾💪 The Bulldogs recorded an astounding 56 best times and scores throughout the meet—an incredible team performance that showcased their dedication and Bulldog Pride! 🏅 Lanechain Swimmer of the Meet went to Thomas C. for his 5th place finish in diving and an amazing 10-second drop in the 100 Butterfly, earning him 8th place and a Sectional-qualifying time! 🏃‍♂️ Indoor Track Records Continue to Fall! 🏃‍♀️ The Indoor Track team is adding new program records set by talented athletes from our combined team. Long Jump Record Three Avon athletes—Sage P., Blayden B., and Robert B.—surpassed the program's record this season. Sage P. jumped the furthest, claiming the new record with 19' 4.5"! The previous record of 18' 10.25" was set by Livonia’s Scott Schuster in 2008/2009. High Jump Record Jordan M. set a new high jump record at 6' 0", surpassing the previous mark of 5' 10", held by Livonia’s Seth Banac since the 1992/1993 season.
