Dear Incoming 6th Graders and Parents,
We are getting closer to the upcoming school year! We are very happy to welcome the class of 2028 to the 6th grade at Livonia Middle/High School and look forward to a successful school year. Please continue to reference our online communications for the most recent information and news as we approach September. Be sure to visit the new website and new mobile app (search Livonia CSD, NY in your app store) as well as our social media channels Facebook and Instagram, and the Superintendent's updates via email and YouTube.
To help ease your child to our building we are hosting a 6th Grade Orientation day on Wednesday, August 25th. Activities will include:
- learning about their MHS schedules
- learning about MHS core values and behavioral expectations
- participating in team-building activities with their classmates
Each student will take the tour of our building where they can find their classrooms while experiencing the safety protocols which will be in place to start the year. We will have high school student leaders here to help students with their tour of the building. A similar letter should have been sent home, along with an internet use agreement form for parents to read, sign and return to the Middle/High School Main Office at 6th-grade orientation.
Listed below is the schedule for when your child should be at the Middle High School. Bus transportation to school will be provided (see schedule below). Should you need to have your child attend at a different time than they are scheduled that day please call Mrs. Streeter (346-4000 x 2000) in the counseling office to let her know which time slot your child will attend.

Should your child not be able to attend the orientation on August 25th, the school counselor, Todd Carter, will be here many other days the second half of August and can arrange a separate orientation time (346-4000 x 2007 tcarter@livoniacsd.org).
