Livonia Middle/High School would like to thank Hayley Anderson and Friends of Livonia along with our local business volunteers for organizing and being part of this year's Reality Check. Each student was randomly assigned an income before traveling to booths like housing, insurance, communications, and childcare to make “payments”. They had to visit every booth but had the ability to make choices and budget how they spent their money.
The Livonia Middle/High School would like to thank everyone who participated in today's Mock DUI. Including our First Responders, Livingston County Sheriff's Office, Fugle's Auto Parts, Mercy Flight, and Dougherty Funeral Home. This event was designed to raise awareness of the dangers of drinking and distracted driving.

Junior and Senior students will learn firsthand about the consequences associated with driving under the influence (DUI) at a Mock DUI crash event today, Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 9:15 am. his event is designed to raise awareness about the dangers of DUI and promote responsible decision-making among high school students.

The Leadership II class went to Happy Tails Animal Shelter last week to give back to the community. Students were able to walk dogs and help socialize cats. They have many lovable and adoptable animals currently in their shelter.

Congratulations to Megan B, Maya B, Sean S, and Meredith S.! They completed all requirements for the NYS Seal of Biliteracy. NYS has a list of criteria they completed and it culminated in a presentation and Q and A session with the Biliteracy Committee. These four students demonstrated a proficiency level of Intermediate High or higher!
💵✔️Reality Check is back! 9-12 grade students check it out tomorrow during lunch in the e-cafe. You will be assigned an annual income and travel to booths like housing, transportation, insurance, and child care to make virtual payments from your budget. There are prizes!
