The Academic Challenge Bowl team had its playoff tournament on Wednesday night at Eastridge HS. In the first game, the team had a strong second half to pull away from Webster Spry in a 255-120 win. In the next match, Livonia needed to win control of the last question to force a tie and send the game to OT. Unfortunately, Canandaigua answered correctly, and Livonia was eliminated. It was a great season. Look for the 8th graders to move up to MasterMinds in the fall, while the 6th and 7th graders form a great core for the next season of ACB. Top scorers for the night were Ellie D (90 points), Miranda B (20 points), and Owen A, Matthew P, and Hannah W (10 points each). We’ll officially close the season soon with the annual ice cream sundae party!
