Dual Custody and Multiple Locations

According to the commissioner of education, school districts are only required to transport students to a single residence or daycare. It is up to each district to decide if it is possible to accommodate requests beyond a single address. The district recognizes the challenges a single location may have on families and allows students to complete a request for multiple-location transportation. For safety reasons, only one consistent weekly schedule will be accepted to multiple addresses. Alternating weeks or other schedule variations are not possible based on safety concerns and will not be accepted. An application for multiple-location transportation must be submitted annually by the parent or guardian (one form per student).

These applications must be received by the Transportation Department by August 10th of each year.
