Wednesday Night Wrap-Up 🏐 Varsity Volleyball came out hard last night against the Avon Braves. They took all three sets 25-8, 25-15, 25-20! They lost the first 2 games, but won the third set. Eliza Gillespie contributed 9 aces & 5 assists. Emma Weterrings had 1 kill, but helped lead the serve receive. Their next match is at home on 9/13 vs. Haverling. 🏐 The modified Volleyball team had their first scrimmage against Avon last night. They lost the match 5 games to 0 but had some great plays!! Leading the team with 4 aces was Loralyn Averil. Stella Molino had 2 aces. Anna Shaffer, Rowan Trubia and Annie Pickard each had 1 ace. Courtney Potts had 2 kills and Adelyn Palmeri had a kill. Tuesday Night Wrap-Up ⚽ The Livonia Boys Varsity Soccer team left Hornell with a 2-0 win tonight against the top ranked team in Class B. Keegan Dennis and Austin Francis were on target for the Bulldogs. “Man of the Match” honors were shared by Peter Tonkery and Mike Neckers. ⚽ The JV Boys improved to 2-0 with a win over Hornell 5-2. Scoring for the Bulldogs were Ryan O’Duffy, Shea Maxwell, Evan Strauss, Thomas Christian, and Aiden Brown. Assists were made by Ryan O’Duffy, Max McEnerney and Braeden Roller. Well done dogs!! 🏊‍♀️ The Girls Swimming and Diving team opened their season with a victory over Marcus Whitman, 88-58. An amazing total of 19 sectional qualifying times were recorded. Amara Evans was named "Swimmer of the Meet" with her season best times in the 200 and 500 Freestyle. Next meet is @ Churchville-Chili on Thursday. ⚽ The Varsity Girls had an awesome win over LeRoy last night. Hannah Weldy set a new team PR for "Power Plays" or "Explosive Efforts". ⚽ The JV Girls Soccer team defeated LeRoy 6-0. Goals were scored by Brooke Shaffer, Kierstin Einhiple, Molly Rowe, Chloe Meys, and Taila Bezerra. Karly Lawton recorded the shut out in goal. It was a great team effort! 🏐 JV Volleyball fought hard in their 3 games on Tuesday night. They split the first two and just feel short on the third. The Lady Bulldogs worked as a team under pressure to give it their best shot and show their potential for the season to come. Eliza Gillespie had 3 aces and 3 kills for the match. Aubrie Albany also contributed 3 aces as well as 4 digs. Kiley Tumminelli led offense with 3 kills alongside Eliza. Keep working hard, ladies! 🏐 The lady Bulldogs had a tough match against Aquinas. The Bulldogs lost the first two sets 25-16, 25-14. They came back and took the 3rd set 25-21 before losing the 4th set 26-24. Boys Soccer Wrap Up The Livonia Boys Varsity Soccer team opened the 2022 season with a comprehensive 6-0 win over the visiting East Rochester Bombers last night. In a night of 20 outstanding performances, Jackson McEnerney earned “Man of the Match” honors. The JV boys soccer season kicked off with a 2-0 win over East Rochester. Scoring for the Bulldogs were Max McEnerney and Ryan O’Duffy. Recording his first career shutout was Kaidan O’Connor. Great game dogs!!
