🏐 Friday night the varsity volleyball team celebrated senior night. Our three seniors Leah, Mary and Grace took the spotlight tonight.
Hosting the Monroe Red Jackets the girls took quick work of the first set and won 25-10. They won the next two sets 25-20 and 25-14.

🏐 JV volleyball won their game Friday, Oct 8, against Monroe. They took all three games 25-23, 25-17, and 25-19. Julie Renner had 5 aces. Megan Tumminelli had 3 aces and 2 assists. Avery Stahl had 2 kills and 3 aces. Kailyn Sherman led defense with 5 digs.
⚽ TheJV girls soccer team lost Friday to a tough playing Hornell 1-0. The girls got a chance to play on turf and fought to the end trying to win the ball and control the midfield play. Despite fast physical play, the girls kept their composure and continued to hustle until time expired. The girls record is now 8-3. This afternoon the girls will play home at 4:30 versus Byron Bergen. Come out and support the team in their last home game of the season.

⚽ The Livonia Girls Modified team remain undefeated after a 1-0 victory Thursday night at Avon. The lone goal for the bulldogs was scored by Maeve Seeley. Karly Lawton and Gwen Strom combined for their sixth straight shutout.
⚽ The Boys Varsity Soccer team ended the week with a 5-0 win over visiting North Rose Wolcott. Shane Melead scored the first two goals, followed by Bryce Hoang, Jackson McEnerney, and James Spezzano. Peter Tonkery earned his second consecutive shutout and fourth of the season. Bulldog “Man of the Match” was Aidan O’Keefe.

⚽ In a hard fought rainy game on Monday, the boys modified soccer team tied a quick and athletic McQuaid team. Ethan Batzel scored for the Bulldogs.
⚽ The JV Boys Soccer team defeated Way-Co Monday by a score of 7-0. Austin Francis lead the way with a hat trick, Jack TeBeau, Shea Maxwell, Aiden Brown and Ray Shanks each added one. Nick Stetter and Nick Coyle each added an assist. Gavin Woolston picked up his 11th shutout. The dogs improve to 13-0.
⚽ The Boys Varsity Soccer team beat a tough Way-Co team on Monday 8-2 in a mud bath in Cohocton. Colin Ullock scored a hat trick, Bryce Hoang scored twice, and Nick Sheldon, Xzavier Collmer, and Jackson McEnerney added single tallies. Evan Frazo had 3 assists and was the Bulldog “Man of the Match”.
🏐 The JV volleyball girls played an excellent game Monday. Livonia beat Avon in the first 2 games 25-15 and 25-20. Avon took the third game in a close match 24-26. The Lady Bulldogs led in serving. Julie Renner had 9 aces, Trinity Murphy had 5 aces, and Megan Tumminelli and Kaylie Hasfurter each had 3 aces each. Avery Stahl led offense with 2 kills. And Aubrie Albany led the defense with 4 digs.

🏊 The girls lost to a talented Class B HFL team last night 113-66.
Congrats to Angela Tewksbury on securing the only 1st place swim of the night in the IM. Congrats also to Alex McKeel and Sophie Beikirch for achieving Sectional qualifying times yesterday. Way to work hard Bulldogs!
🏃 The Boys Varsity Cross Country team improved to a 11-1 record last night, while the Girls improved to 10-2. Chris Coyle came in 2nd in the race while Luke Lawton came in 4th- they ran a great team race to fight off a really tough Pembroke team. Following them was Matt Mulvaney, Josh VanNostrand, Ryan Bosch, and Anthony Lippert. Cami Rode placed 2nd in the girls race followed by Alyssa Healy, Carly Lang, Sara Perdue, and Ollie Turek. Great running Livonia Cross Country!
🏃 The XC mod squad had 4 top 10 finishers! Congrats to Logan Benier for his first place finish and Myles Jarzyna for coming in 3rd. Way to go Bulldogs!

Weekend wrap up!
🏃 The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams had a great showing at the McQuaid Invitational this past weekend. Chris Coyle came in 42nd out of almost 400 runners. Following him were Luke Lawton and Matt Mulvaney who both placed in the top 100. For the girls Cami Rode and Alyssa Healy both finished in the top 100 out of almost 300 girls. Almost every member of the Boys and Girls teams ran a personal best this weekend. Great job Livonia Cross Country!
⚽ The Boys Varsity Soccer team lost to a strong Bath team 3-0 dropping their record to 7-5 on the season. Several Bulldogs played valiantly. “Man of the Match” was Connor Feehan.
⚽ Girls varsity soccer beat Dansville 1-0. Esther Slocum scored with 4 min left in second overtime to secure the win. Kylie Buckley assisted on the play. Mary Kwak had 4 saves.
🏐 The girls gave an undefeated Aquinas team a run Friday night. They went four sets 21-25, 15-25, 25-22, 19-25.

🏐JV Volleyball faced a tough loss Friday. Aquinas took the first game 22-25, Livonia took the second 25-13, but Aquinas ended up coming out stronger in the third game and won 25-13. Kaylie Hasfurter had a strong game with 3 kills, 5 digs, and 12 serve receive attempts. Megan Tumminelli had a strong game assisting with 5 assists and Julie Renner giving 3 assists. We are continuing to work as a whole team to be successful.

🏐JV volleyball won all 3 games at Bath vs. Haverling. The scores were 25-17, 25-23, and 25-8. Coach Sheffield is SO proud of the effort the girls made as a collective. Everyone stepped up to play and it showed the value of team. The team led with strong servers: Kaylie Hasfurter led the team with 10 aces, Jenna Gorton had 5 aces and Megan Tumminelli had 4 aces. Brenna Keller got her first kill of the season and Avery Stahl got her first block. The girls' hard work paid off!
⚽ The Mod boys soccer team won last night over Hornell 10-0. Mirko Kovac and Carson Beardsley kept the clean sheet to help us improve to 5-0 on the season.

⚽ The Boys Varsity Soccer team scored a 2-1 overtime win at Letchworth/Warsaw. Evan Frazo scored the game’s first goal, assisted by Connor Feehan. Letsaw replied on a penalty kick. 🏊♀️ Girls swimming and diving beat Dansville at home 88-65. The girls had many first and second place swims! The team record is now 6-2. They face a hard week ahead with non-league meets against HFL and Victor/Bloomfield.

Avery Stahl led the offense with 2 kills and contributed 12 service attempts, which were at critical points during the match. Julie Renner also led the service line with 3 aces. Kaylie Hasfurter and Aubrie Albany helped lead the back row with 7 and 4 digs respectively. We will reset for tomorrow as we have another 3 games in a row to go.

Monday night wrap up
🏈 JV football team suffered a loss to Oakfield-Alabama-Elba last night 31-0. Some injuries to our players put the team at an disadvantage. The team never gave up and battled to the last second.
⚽ The JV girls soccer team hosted Haverling last night having now matched up against each league opponent. After a slow start, the girls found the net a total of five times. Scoring for the Bulldogs were KJ Eiinhiple, Bailey Treuhart, Libby Kwak, Jess Freese and Ava Pragle. This well rounded attack featuring many different scoring threats makes it difficult for their opponents to defend. Assisting their teammates, setting them up to score were Genny Strom, Ava and KJ twice.
For their Homecoming game, the girls will play Dansville Friday in hopes of taking back their only league loss of the season.
🏐 The girls modified volleyball team had an amazing night with a 5-0 match sweep against Dansville. The girls played amazingly as a team and were solid with their serving all night.

Isabelle Dennis, Anna Cinquino, Kylie Buckley, Esther Slocum each scored a goal and Hannah Weldy picked up her first varsity goal. Cinquino, Slocum, and Kelsey Stewart had assists.
🥅 Mary Kwak and Kylei Waters shared goal keeping time and each had one save.
⚽ The JV Boys soccer team defeated Hornell by a score of 3-1. Scoring for the Bulldogs were George Christian, Christian Roller, and Austin Francis. Assists were made by Austin Francis, and Ryan Matzek. The Dogs improve to 9-0 on the season. Keep it going boys!
⚽ The Boys Varsity Soccer team lost 1-0 in Hornell despite having the better of the game. “Man of the Match” honors were shared by Matthew Connor and Connor Feehan. The Boys fall to 5-4 on the season.

Thursday Night Wrap Up
⚽ The Livonia Girls Modified team defeated Wayland-Cohocton tonight 6-0. Avery Snyder and Gwen Strom each scored in their third straight game. Also scoring for the Bulldogs was Natalie Gause(2), Alexa Olsen and Lily Sharp.

⚽ The JV girls soccer team put together an amazing passing game, attacking from the corners for a 4-1 win over visiting Hornell. The tenacious play of the defense and tough goalkeeping by McKenna consistently turned away scoring chances for Hornell. Jess Freeze continues to set up her teammates earning two assists on goals from KJ and Eliza. Emily Foley found the net off a pass from Hayley and Eliza cashed in a PK in the second half. Come out Monday and support the girls as they host Bath Haverling.

🏐 JV Volleyball had a nail-biter last night! We split the first two games with Wayland-Co taking the first game 25-16 and Livonia took the second 25-16. However, I am so excited and proud that the girls ended up winning the final game 25-23. Julie Renner had an amazing serving run during the second game and had 15 aces. The girls served aggressively with Sierra Santiago having 4 aces, Jenna Gorton with 3 aces, as well as Avery Stahl and Kaylie Hasfurter each contributing 2 acces each. Avery Stahl also led the front row with 2 kills. I am very proud of their hard work and energy that helped them pull through the third game!

🏃 The Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country teams continued their winning streak at home last night. Top finishers for the boys were Luke Lawton, Chris Coyle, Matt Mulvaney, Josh VanNostrand, Anthony Lippert, and Owen Cavo. ⚽ The JV Boys soccer team remained undefeated with a 2-1 win against LeRoy. Scoring for the Bulldogs were Shea Maxwell, assisted by Nick Coyle. The second goal was an unassisted goal by Ray Shank. The Bulldogs move to 6-0 on the year.
