On Friday some of our students had a visit from Prehistoric World - NY's only interactive reptile zoo! The students loved having the reptiles visit their classroom.

Deputy Herkimer also provides education and support to Livonia's students and staff members on a variety of topics, including drug abuse, violence, bullying, and theft.
He also recently completed the two-week D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) instructor school held in Montour Falls! Thank you, SRO Herkimer!
Mr. Cripps' class practiced using the scientific method by performing a heat test on 6 different substances. They are trying to determine which substance has properties that match a "mystery substance" as a part of their Mystery Matter science unit.

Room 33 was spreading some "super" cheer today around the Elementary School. They took a poll on who staff thought would win the super bowl, handed out football treats they had made, and wished everyone a "super" weekend!

🦷 February is Children's Dental Health Month. Today our ES students had a visit from a dental hygienist and assistant from Geneseo Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry to talk about the importance or oral hygiene!
Mrs. Reitz’s class learned about falcons, owls, hawks and bald eagles. We were also quiet and still like the trees to feed the chickadees!
