Mrs. Blank's PreK had a Grinch Day celebration! Students completed a STEM Whoville Christmas Tree challenge, Grew the Grinch's heart in a science experiment, and made a Grinch snack.

Miss Leonard had a special guest in class, her grandma, Mrs. Leonard. Mrs. Leonard helped the students make Sweet Rolls. They loved making the rolls and eating them!

Mrs. Spuhler's class got together with their first grade buddies in Miss Leon's class today. They read the story "Snowmen at Night" and worked together on a snowman craft.
Mrs. Hinds' class started off their 12 Days Before the Holiday Break with Kindness Day. They are making dog blankets to be shipped to Alaska to be used for the 2022 Iditarod Race. The blankets will be used by dogs returned to Anchorage during the race. The dogs are cared for a short period of time until they are picked up by a handler and taken home. Sometimes extra layers of blankets to snuggle under are appreciated by the furry athletes.

Today, Mrs. Hinds's and Mrs. Veldheuizen's classes had their trip to visit the George Eastman Museum.
Mrs. Buisman's, Mrs. Dorey's, and Mr. Cripps' classes visited the George Eastman Museum today. After learning about Mr. Eastman's life from the book Click, they were able to explore his mansion and check out the numerous gingerbread houses on display. This is the introduction into the 4th grade's inventors unit in ELA.
The 5th Grade Band and Chorus got to perform their winter concert for our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students today!
Mrs. Dorey's class is enjoying having cocoa and working on their Chromebooks around their classroom tree today.
