On Wednesday, the Academic Challenge Bowl team traveled to Twelve Corners Middle School for two matches. The host team proved very formidable in the first match, besting Livonia 285-70. The Bulldogs rebounded in the next match, though, with a 200-120 win over Rush-Henrietta Roth. Top scorers for the night were Hannah W and Justin F (40 points each) and Leah W (30 points). On Tuesday, the Middle School math team wrapped up their season. They finished in 2nd place for the day, 3 points behind Geneseo. Though the team had a slow start in its first match back in December, strong showings in January and February earned them 3rd place for the season! High scorers on Tuesday were Audrey D and Chayse B (14 points each), Clay F and Hannah W (13 points each), and Claire P, Matthew P, and Leah W (12 points each). After the match, the team celebrated with the tradition of an ice cream sundae party. It was a great season, with many strong performers coming back next year!
