We’re excited to share a new feature in ParentSquare that allows parents/guardians of students in grades 6–12 to send direct messages to their student through the ParentSquare platform. This Family Messaging tool provides a secure, district-managed way to communicate during the school day without relying on personal cell phones. Parents can send everyday messages such as appointment reminders or schedule changes, and students can receive them in StudentSquare on their school-approved devices.

Parents may also message other parent(s) linked to the same student. When doing so, a shared student or a staff member must be included in the conversation in order for the message to be sent successfully.

This enhancement supports school-day communication while helping uphold our instructional environment and existing device policies. Please note that messages may be monitored in accordance with district guidelines and are intended to support appropriate communication between families and students.
