Fall 2026 Swim and Dive Lessons

Livonia Central School District is offering Fall Swim & Dive Lessons on Wednesday evenings from September 9 through October 14, 2026. Priority registration is given to Livonia Central School District residents.

Lessons will be held on: September 9, 16, 23, and 30 and October 7 and 14

Registration and payment deadline: Wednesday, September 2

Cost
$50 for first child

$20 for each additional child

Swimming Lesson Schedule

  • 5:30-6:00 PM – Level 1
  • 6:00-6:30 PM – Level 2
  • 6:30-7:00 PM – Levels 3, 4, and 5

Diving Times

  • 6:00-6:30 PM – Beginner Diving, 5 spots available
  • 6:30-7:00 PM – Beginner Diving, if needed, 5 spots available

Important Registration Information

A confirmation email will not be sent after registration.  Please consider your child registered unless you receive an email indicating otherwise

If any swimming group or level adjustments are needed, families will be contacted by email or ParentSquare.

  • For swimmers working toward independent swimming without a bubble.

    Skills include:

    • Safely entering and exiting the water independently
    • Floating
    • Treading water
    • Front crawl
    • Back crawl
  • Skills include:

    • Jumping in the shallow end
    • Rhythmic breathing
    • Floating
    • Whip kick
    • Elementary backstroke
  • Skills include:

    • Standing dive
    • Swimming underwater
    • Surface dive
    • Breaststroke
    • Dolphin kick
  • Skills include:

    • Diving off the block
    • Tuck/pike surface dive
    • Butterfly
    • Sidestroke
    • Swimming front and back crawl uninterrupted for 25 yards
  • Beginner diving includes both diving board and dryland work and is recommended for students in grades 3-6.

    Skills include:

    • Forward and backward approaches
    • Feet-first and head-first entries
    • Dives and somersaults
    • Straight, pike and tuck positions
